Ocd and hocd pls explan

Hi guys I am 21 years old and I discoverd that I have OCD about 1 year ago because of my sex or as I read here hocd I went to the psychiatrist and he tell me that it's OCD and give me medicine and he doesn't explain what's the reason i don't want to take a lot of time since I read a lot of problems that must be solved. I have been trough all some of you mentiond confused of gender images, unwanted thoughts, I know I I STRAIGHT AND ALWAYS SOE STR8 PORNso le go to point why such ideas come to mind I am out of control of my self conscius talk I was with a friend and idea of kissing him popped out like a statment "should I kiss him" I have no desire of doing that and even now I can tell that I don't want do such thing I feel shamefull and guilty because of that inner ideas,ok I love him as a friend but not that way pls can one explain why this happens even I I don't want to.what's the reason of all this .. thanks for this forum I am not felling alone any more

I’m surprised that your doctor diagnosed you with OCD, gave you meds, but didn’t even explain the basic concept of it to you.

When anxiety is at a high point, some people suffer OCD symptoms. One of those symptoms is intrusive thoughts. The thought of kissing your friend is an intrusive thought.

The intrusive thought can be about anything, but normally it seems to focus on things that are personally relevant to the person suffering the OCD.

In the case of HOCD, these thoughts can confuse someone into believing that these thoughts are actually desires. But they are not. Almost every HOCD post discusses how the person has no desire for the sam sex, and yet they have these thoughts - how can that be. Well, that is the nature of OCD - to make you worry needlessly.

I am glad you are taking the meds. Did you just start taking them? It can take up to 4 weeks or more for them to have affect.

yes indeed he told me that it's OCD if I have no desires he told me if I wanted them there wouldn't any problems whit that ,I'm on sertralin and sedoxil it helps me to relax a bit and reduce my anxiety..if you don't mind I have a question my self talk its like an automatic machine and a statment like that it's not pleasurable.. whats the reason behind that inner speech? ... Ty I really appreciate for your help m8 appart of all I baught a book called the white bear and other unwanted thoughts it's on its way my be it can helps me get control of mind once again
