Omg once an event or something someone says to me (thats negative), gets stuck in my head, I can't get it out and I find myself going back over it again and again and again until I cause myself to cry or other bad things.. and it frustrates me so much..!!!! GRRRR!!!

I'm totally with you on this topic. I have things from 5+ years ago that I can't let go of. And they make me almost as mad thinking of them now as they did when they happened. :evil:

I'm so glad I'm not alone on this.. It's really getting me down and other times it gets me so frustrated.

I'm still bitter about things from my past too. Some memories are just imprinted so strongly on your brain that the neural-pathways forming that memory are slow to fade-away. It's an evolutionary 'tool': We remember the bad things so that we can avoid them in future.
