Hi Everyone,
I am new here and new to the OCD world as well Originally it was thought I had GAD but I realized it was more and talked to my doctor when I started categorizing things as good or bad. Even to the point of having trouble getting dressed because I could only wear the "bad" clothes when there was nothing that I had categorized as "good" going on that day.
Anyways, I really struggle with false memories and this has caused a lot of anxiety. I have memories that I don't remember AT ALL in reality (small details are the same, maybe). To me, if I remember something YEARS later, it was probably not real. I feel bad writing it off as "just OCD" because I feel like that means I don't care.
Can someone provide some insight?
