I have OCD but not of this form. What (usually) triggers you to talk to yourself?

I have OCD because I'm a perfectionist. If things are not right I then become destructive with my own life. It's a mixture of bulimia, depression, and perfectionism.
You could try this: Next time you feel like talking to yourself try doing it in your mind instead of out loud.

What are the sick thoughts? Do you want to share them perhaps? You might find that other people have the same thoughts.

I cannot simply list medication that could help you for I am not a professional. However, even if you knew of certain medication that could help, you would not be able to go buy it without a perscription from a doctor.
Are you truly disgusted by the thoughts in your head? Do they seem like something that would be likely to occur in real-time? ...Or, are the things that would never actually happen.

Hey, I got coping techniques from my therapist. She simply encouraged me to do things differently in my life. Also, she made me realise that all of my compulsions weren't important and therefore, could easily be left undone.
