hy!

i have pulled my hair in february, i have very thick black hair

i have noticed since february to today that i have damaged my hair follicles so

i have like 40% thick hair on that part so my hair wont grow any more they

are growing but less hair is growing becouse the rest 60% hair follicles are gone



how can you help me??

i can try using a hair lotion? does anyone ...

or am i just worrying for no reason..

basically when i was about 5/6 (im 16 now) i had trich for a while; i think it was because of the stress of my parents getting divorced at the time...after a while i stopped (well i stopped pulling my hair out and started hurting myself in other ways)
i just came across the word again tonight while reading and starting thinking.... i dont pull my hair ...

Hello my husband has trich really bad he has done therapy, meds, and nothing has helped
So this week he has pulled his eyebrow Out to being bald in about 3 days every time he is just sitting he is pulling
so I have been having him do laundry, clean whatever to the point he's calling me lazy for not doing
anything to "help out" I guess when you see it happen in a span ...

Ok i know i might sound well how do you put it nieve but all these adds about curing Trich. ok idk your like me but i hate take medication i hate it i hate taking pills. Most of these things are pills. Why? Idkj maybe i'm being harsh if thats the word, but seriously if the medication i was on wasn't helping what makes these any different? What do you think. I've read a lot of different things from people who i think don't have Trich. Idk I've been trying to kick trich for about 8 years. It got really bad when i was younger but has progressivly gotten better but I still pull. I found putting slight pressure on the spot that is inflamed that makes me want to pull lessens the urge. But what else do you think helps you?

I cant stop picking the dry skin off my hands and feet. I am constantly doing it and have even once woken from my sleep picking my feet. This has been going on for years. I didnt even realise that it could be linked to a mental disorder until now. Ive tried everything to stop including wearing gloves and socks but nothing works, I have to pick! I have been pulling for 5 years at least, and I pull from just about anywhere. It's part of my ritual before I take a shower (this can last for up to an hour), and sometimes I do it at random times, like while reading, or driving on auto pilot, or relaxing. I would like to stop this, obviously. But it's extremely difficult as you probably know.

I was just wondering, has anyone noticed in the areas that you pull at, that the hair falls out ridiculously easy? In the one spot where I pull, all I have to do, is just touch it for the hair to come out now.

And I could tell the area of the scalp got inflamed because of my pulling :(

I realized pretty quick I pull my hair out ever since it grew long enough for its softness not to stop me from tugging on it. It's always the same.
