If I had a therapist

The thought just popped into my head. I have so much time to get those popped thoughts now that I'm not working. So what would it be like? I would be sitting there and thinking that this person hears sad whiney shiiit all the time and can't possibly give a flying fukk about me or my probelms. I would brobably say it to him. Becuase he's an idiot.

Free therapy...

I think some of the best free therapy for someone with BDD is to get out and volunteer to help someone.

Working so closely with people or animals who are less fortunate than you really make you appreciate what you have and what you have to offer besides your looks.

My friend worked with the Ronald McDonald House and she said that she was learning that there is more to life than obsessing about your ...

In Love With Therapist

My therapist is just incredibly HAWT!!! and I'm almost tempted to post her pic to prove it...
I've been seeing her for about a month.

I was totally infatuated at first sight, I couldn't stop thinking about her, and trying to come up with things to say that would make her fall in love with me. But I reminded myself - this is just transference, of course I'm going to crush on somebody who's paid ...

How does one get a loved one into therapy

Hi, I've seen several posts here by people who have already succeeded in getting their spouse or other loved one to acknowledge their problem and undertake therapeutic treatment.
Can somebody advise me how this was managed?
My wife has a deeply ingrained delusion that she is being stalked by an vast, free-form gang, all controlled by somebody who lived near her some two years ago. The wealth, technical know-how and ability to recruit others with ...

Good web to download relaxation audios

I´m fan of relaxation exercises. They help me a lot to control my nerves.
Yesterday I was looking for some web pages and I downloaded two audios (in Spanish) to help me sleep, but I didn´t like them.

So, if you know about any web where you can download some guide relaxation exercises, please, write the link.
In English, I perfectly control Shakespeare´s Language.
Thanks ...

Psychedelic Therapy

If you are opposed to the use of drugs, please refrain from posting. I must ask the moderators to delete any posts that condemn my therapy purely out of principle, as it is very hurtful to me that people would rather have me kill myself than cure myself.

After having heard of the therapeutic value of psychedelics against mental illness, I decided to wait until I had a remission and then tried it. To make ...

Treatment or cure?

A relative of mine shows all the symptoms of APSD.
He seemed to live a normal productive life up until he reached his late thirties, early forties.
Since that time he has been unable to hold a job, lies continuously, comits fraud regularly, and has been in and out of prison. We're talking a period of close to 20 years now. I fear it will be too late for him if he doesn't get the ...

Do you tell your therapist everything?

Whenever I see a psychotherapist, I'm usually more open with them than I am with most people. I figure they've probably talked to people with worse situations than mine. But I don't always tell them everything that's bothering me. Should I tell them or is it okay to keep certain things to myself, even from my therapist?
