When I was a kid, I had an issue with eating habits. I was never a picky eater, because that kind of kid in my traditional Asian family was relatively nonexistent at the time.
I was never as tiny or as skinny as my older sister, who my mom would often call by her nickname, "Stringbean." I was often reminded of how fat I was as a child by my respective nicknames, as well as ...

i look at almost all reflecting surface it is involuntary and i feel bad everytime looking at mirrors and reflecting sirfaces.Also in college i always go to washrooms to check my face every inteerval.I am always ancious how i look.how others will see me.
While looking at the mirror i feel trapped inside there like i cannot get back to my surroundings or my thoughts are trapped.

Has anyone here ever gone down that avenue? I have had every feature on my face altered and it's ruined my life. I've been a hermit for two years now. Would love to speak to others in the same situation. It's not a 'misery loves company' situation - just want people who understand :(

Okay so my problem area isn't my face its to do with the shape of part of my body. I know plastic surgery has very low rates of success for BDD sufferers, but does anyone know if changing the shape of your body naturally i.e. through diet and exercise would help a BDD sufferer at all? From what I understand, no matter what a person with BDD does to change the appearance of their 'problem ...

Hi right now I am freaking out worrying if I have a brain tumor because probably for the past 1-2 months the right side of the back of my head has felt sore and uncomfortable to rest on when I am trying to sleep or lay down. So recently I found out that chronic mouth breathing at an early age can change drastically the facial development.
which can cause a weak 'v' shaped looking jaw, forward head posture and crooked nose and teeth (pretty much how I look)
