Male 26y here and Ive always been hypocondric..
For the past 3-4 days ive been afraid of getting diabetes.. Before this i have always had weird feelings in my body depending on what i've feared..
It started with me being very thirsty and tired one evening (im working very much a week and have anxiety / panic attacks during the day at times).. so the next day somehow i thought that i might have diabetes ...

I thought I'd start a post on videos that are empowering and inspiring about our looks/body image because quite clearly we all need to try and change our mindset and beliefs about looks, the importance of looks, how we see ourselves.

I like this video, this girl sees herself and accepts herself as ugly but is determined to not let it have a negative impact on her life.

This is a question I am very unsure how other people here would answer. I know Marg used to say that her son did not fear being seen as ugly at all and I have read other people say the same thing that they do not fear being seen as ugly, and I can 100% understand that, we have all had our own life experiences and what may hurt one person will not hurt someone ...

Sometimes I feel other people look funny and I feel it may in part be part of my own BDD, cause when I am having BDD moments it is more pronounced in other people. Also, do you feel guilt over this? I do because I'm schizoaffective so when I feel like I'm thought broadcasting I'm afraid a little to offend them.

I found by looking at myself under webcam at a different position (closer and beneath me instead of far back and overhead) along with an expensive and large 1080p tv helped significantly.
