A strange type of sleepwalking

I've done extensive research on this and I can't find anything about it, so I am forced to start asking questions. I don't even know if you can call my situation "sleepwalking".
About three years ago, I woke up at 6 AM and started to get ready for school. I took a shower, got dressed, watched TV, listened to music when my normal shows weren't on, and waited for over an hour before I left ...

dreams of murder

I have dreams every night of my whole entire family, four siblings and parents being murdered in front of my very eyes, in different ways. Drowning, true murder, eaten alive, burned in a field, anything, but they all die, screaming in pain and terror, and I wake up crying, hyperventilating. It's been happening for years, and my family has gradually doubted me more and more about my night mares, and now I have to keep ...

Since I was younger, my parents have always mentioned me getting up at night, and talking to them, and i won't remember it. Apparently i wouldnt talk senseless stuff either. They could carry on a conversation with me, while i was sleepwalking. And when i was 13, it only got worse. It was summer ...

Does Amitriptyline help?

Has anyone here been prescribed Amitriptyline (AKA Trip) as medication (or a part of it) to reduce the frequency of sleepwalking episodes? My doc seems to think it's going to make a difference but I'm not so sure as it's just another anti-depressant that has a bunch of side effects. I know it's also used as a sleeping aid and can possibly help with insomnia and ultimately prevent you from getting overtired, which in its ...
