I'm 26, and I've had night terrors for 9 years.
They used to be very vivid and last around 2 minutes. Now, they're short - about 10-20 seconds.
Before, I woke up thinking something ludicrous, like a bomb being in my room, and acting irrationally. Now, I usually swing my limbs and jump out of bed, thinking I'm dying.
I've learned tolerate it very well, I shrug it off, say I'll try to catch on ...
