Weird hallucinations? I'm not sure.

Hello, I'm an 18 year old male and I'm a freshman in college. For about the past week I would be walking through campus and I see a florescent blue circle in a random location, It is not on my eye because I can look around and its in the same spot. I see it anywhere from 1-3 times a day and I'm starting to get worried, Is this a common thing or not I ...

What does hearing voices sound like?

Basically, I have no idea whether what I hear could be a hallucination or just what most people experience at some point. I've experienced it almost all my life (as far as I can remember).

I can be doing something, meditating, reading, watching a film, talking to someone...and a voice in my head (not external), generally from the right hand side, near the back of my cranial cavity, I will hear my voice (or someone ...

Are schizophrenics the bad guys?

Are we truly the bad guys? Or is it just another conspiracy? Maybe normals want us to suffer bad because we got iconic beliefs or are special in relation to our enviornment. Maybe I'm a hobo king with lots of potential but I will never know unless I get relief from hostiles. :? Is it truly worthwhile to be a schizophrenic? Since I'm a schizophrenic will I ...

David Avocado Wolfe

Does he show signs of possible psychosis?

Here is a list of some of the things he believes:

He “believes "mushrooms are from space", "chocolate is an octave of sun energy", and deer antler is "a cosmic substance"(a product he promotes and sells).

Wolfe is also a flat earther, evolution denialist and gravity denialist:
Gravity is not intrinsic to matter. That Carl Sagan idea that was sold to us on Cosmos on PBS, was sold ...

Please Help me with Husband

My husband was diagnosed in 1998 with Paranoid Schizophrenia, OCD, and Depression. It took 2 very long years for him to get the help that was needed, and it was only when he thought I poisoned him in his green beans that he went to the hospital for a blood test verifying that information. He used to beat me in the middle of the night because he thought I was doing bad things to him ...

Is there a difference between "weird" beliefs and delusions?

I know delusions are fixed beliefs that cannot really be reasoned out of, but how does that make them distinct from people, for example, who believe in the moon landing being faked or that shape-shifting lizard extraterrestrials exist in the most public figures of the world?

I don't quite understand, because I know when looking at a diagnosis of a disorder involving psychosis the psychologist must take into account the person's society, as some people ...

Is there such a thing as self-aware psychosis?

I have never been diagnosed with it, by the way, and I never got help because everyone just thought I was "shy", or "anti-social", or "weird", or "crazy," etc.

I have struggled with delusions, paranoia, and hallucinations (plus mood problems, similar to cyclothymia) since beginning high school, all the way through 2 years of college (slowly diminishing), and now it has gone, I am 23. I still get the occasional paranoid thought, but recognise it ...

Can you hear my thoughts?

Hi, I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia and the main symptom I have is hearing voices. The voices say that everyone on earth can hear my thoughts! Please could you tell me if any of you can hear my thoughts? Do you see pictures of me in my mirror? I am a Chinese girl in her late 30s! The voices also say they are bothered by being able to see things I am looking at, ...
