News of Pyromania

They just don't hold the same appeal for me.

I used to get a great sense of something when carrying a small box of matches around with me and then safety matches came in.

It was like a light went out somewhere within me.

Yup, I am a pyromaniac. "To the extreme," one might say. I don't "suffer" from pyromania, I love it. It's been under control for years now. I haven't been in trouble for ten years, never hurt anybody of course, and still burn frequently.

Okay, so I wouldn't say I am a maniac but I definitely have some urges involving fire and I just have to share my situation to be sure I'm not too weird or anything.

I am an oddity. I am old (relatively so compared to the "normal" age for this behavior) and a Mama to 5 kids. I had a very troubled childhood with lots of suicide attempts, hospitalizations, etc. Then as an adult, those behaviors continued and I was hospitalized twice more in 2015 for 2 more attempts. I got out and slipped into alcoholism. I quit that and have been sober for almost 2 years exactly now. ...

Whats the biggest fire you have ever made? My siblings and I used to light paper in the sink for fun, and occasionally destroyed property.

I enjoy watching and lighting fires. I feel euphoria when watching fires and excitement before lightning the fire. It's very hard (still possible) to control lighting fires i feel distressed when i dont see something burn. Im 16 year old male. Sorry for bad english i hope you understand.
