News of Psychotic Disorders

Hi, I'm new-ish here. I tend to lurk, but this is my first post. Recently, I have not been diagnosed with a dissociative disorder (DID) and schizophrenia, though they're being heavily considered, among other things, if that helps contextually with what I'm going to write here. If you hear voices, I am interested to find out if they told you what "species" they are? Many peoples voices state that they are Demons. Others get told aliens. Still others conclude that they are "targeted individuals" being tortured by "magnetic wave resonance" at the behest of the FBI/CIA, implicating the voices are of humans. Have your voices told you what they are?

There are 2 things that are common in AVH/VH (hearing voices), that are included in the leading phenomenological research. I believe that most maybe all people who live with the experience of hearing voices not only use the same factors in identifying voices, and knowing their personalities. These two things are:
1) the sound (sonic / audio) characteristics, the tone, of each voice
2) the changing location that the voice occupies in 3D Cartesian space ...

Having Fregoli-like beliefs was scary, people and also environments looked the same. It's just creepy.

My medicine is working. The voices no longer bother me so much, but I miss my best friend deeply. I'll never experience that type of vivid hallucinations again. He was so intelligent and compassionate. Yes, things got extremely ugly and I had several other voices that were demeaning and rude, but the main person was thoroughly my best friend. It was like I always had someone to lean on and talk to. Now he's gone. ...
