The night is dark
as I embark
on an inner journey
to far-off places
As my own attorney
with the trials he faces

Seeking Truth in the abyss,
confronting fear, experiencing bliss.
Questions are the answer
to balance on the rope
like an acrobatic dancer,
feeding off his hope.

To know what's behind the Door
I have to leave the shore,
And float upon the waves
that cause me to go under,

the sun rose and set on your magnificent breasts.
your vagina a shrine to the world.
you tossed your shadow so carelessly
around a shivering, shimmering little girl.

This thing they call reality is but Hell disguised
They try to bind me with their lies
I would rather choose madness then have you colonize my soul
Then embrace the sadness that tears inside a hole
Call me what you will, my body covered by lashes
Smash me down with your whip, reduce me to ashes
I will never submit, all though I die slow
I would rather face Hell then surrender the Heaven ...

Oceans Of Sadness

Her eyes, sea foam green
Shed azure tears
As they peer endlessly over the horizon

Her lips, cool pale blue
Bled hard wanting
For this kiss of sand that can never be

Her hair, sprays of cream
Mist ever gently
At the whimsy of the wind

Her breasts, their soft desires
Swell proudly
With the caress of the heavens

She lusts to quench her thirst
For a lover that never was ...

oh let me hold the
pen once again
let me write
the story upon
my skin
let me break
into pieces
and fall
once again

In an imagined replica

She comforted me at lunch
Kissing my face
After the skinhead security guards
Punched it up
At night
Before I knew
The person that resided inside

wondering why
alone and bewildered
she lets out a cry
the pain just
wont end
no use to resist
just stand there
and take it
she looks at her wrist
pools of blood form
she leans back on the door
wait for an end
she falls to the floor
the world goes dark
she whispers good bye
when no one will help you
it hurts ...

Okay...please I'm a little susceptible and over sensitive today so don't laugh at me or criticise my work. It's my first attempt at poetic therapy. Here goes:

IT'S FUN TO BE DEPRESSED

....i'm just too depressed to finish it...I'll try again tomorrow

That note you wrote me, months ago
Still screams at forte in my ears
It causes me to slur my voice
Until it is legato
Because you cut the chords;
Staccato.
But if I had a choice
I'd whisper in piano
As I wrote you in return.
I'd tie us back together
And twist back incomplete measures
I'm not sure how I'd shape the phrase
But there wouldn't be a doubt
That it would be ...
