What do you think is the difference between Avoidant Personality Disorer and Depressive Personality Disorder? I have features of both, however I am not completely socially inept compared to other avoidants. I am very depressive by nature. I used to think that I am a highly functioning avoidant, but perhaps I have just DPD.

Often, I find that many nons are devastated by break-ups, bad news, et al. For me (other than MAJOR LIFE EVENTS--death of a loved one, divorce, et al.) I'm usually able to "bounce back" and move on.
