Telling kids their Grandma died?

My kids Grandma died... their dads mom lol.

I don't give a $#%^ myself, but how should I tell them? My first instinct is to just say "Your Grandma died" that's easy, but I guess the real issue is... my lack of sensitivity, they'll probably cry and whatnot... and to that, I'll want to tell them to stop being such cry babies... which I can understand is not the most healthy thing to say to ...

*trigger* Any parents have sexual urges towards their kids?

Hey.

I'm in a difficult situation.

I'm a clinical pedophile, meaning that I have sexual urges towards children. Although these are not under my control, my actions obviously are.

The thing is... One day, I'd kinda like to get married and have kids of my own. And specifically, I'd like not to hurt them.

I don't know that I could, but I want to if I can.

So to be direct: Do parents have sexual ...

22 year old shut in son

This is actually about my brother, but I was hoping for some advice on what a parent should do about this situation. My brother is 22. Since graduating from high school he rarely leaves the house. He doesn't have a job or go to school and he doesn't appear to have any friends. He spends all his time either on the computer or harassing his mom and younger brothers. At one point last year he ...

Tell kids their 'dad' lied?

I'm not one to generally ask for this type of input. I usually do what is the most self serving option available to me

My kids 'dad' lied to them, again. It's an ongoing thing with him, he has a serious image issue and always needs to look like the good guy, great father etc... He's a very deluded narcissist. An example: In my home you ...

Childhood cruelty to animals

I had about forgotten about this, until I just mentioned it in another thread.

I caught my 7 year old (the overly sensitive kid) beating one of my cats a couple of weeks ago, this isn't the first time I've caught her hurting one of the cats, usually the cry out so I hear them and I stop her, but this time she had the cats face burried so I couldn't hear the cat. I ...

Overly sensitive whiny child

I have two daughters who are 9 years old and 7 years old. My 9 year old has Aspergers and my 7 year old is 'normal' but... I'm thinking she's not.

My 7 year old is overly emotional, sensitive and fearful. This has only been escalating as she gets older to the point you have to walk on eggshells when talking to her... she takes everything personally and as an insult and attack onto her, ...
