Families Suck

Families suck.

And that's about all that can be said about them...

People that love their families should be shot in the head for stupidity...

So yea. They suck. I know mine does.

Tryptophan as a cure for depression?

Hi all,

I have 2 questions.

1. Does anyone know if tryptophan (found in turkey and used to be sold in the USA as a supplement until it was banned) can help relieve depression? Is it safe to say that eating turkey can help you with depression?
2. Is tryptophan or 5-HTP an effective depression cure?

My basic understanding is that after eating a Thanksgiving meal, the tryptophan in turkey gets converted into a neurotransmitter ...

Do I suffer from ED

Dear All,

Let me try to explain what I've been going through. Maybe someone can help me out. :)

I've been dating a lovely girl for the past two weeks. She's pretty, has a great body, is funny, naughty, etc.
So why do I have a hard time getting an erection? Sometimes it all starts well but then I start thinking I won't get a decent erection ...

Funny Things People Do

I sometimes find myself watching people and laughing at their odd little habits. Have you ever noticed the funny panic face people do when they're only halfway across the road and the green man starts to flash? This is usually accompanied by a little jog. It's also funny when they miss the bus. They look around them and use great, sweeping gestures and complain loudly to everyone in earshot, eager for someone to notice and ...

Narcissistic thinking vs. Reality

Here's something that I wonder about when it comes to narcissists. How much do narcs base their grandiose self-image off true virtuosity, and how much is just delusional self-love? They feel that they are better than others. Are they sometimes kind of right? Are narcs usually above average intelligence? Or above average in many ways? Many people who are above average are humble about it, but others aren't. So are those people narcissistic, or just ...

Mom looking for answers-advice

Hi, my daughter is 10 years old.. all of her "symptoms" started a little over a year ago.. she started off making off noises with her mouth.. like clearing her throat.. to which we assumed was allergies.. but it was not.. so we ignored it. Then she started clicking her neck.. since she has scoliosis we assumed it was from that, did xrays and that was ok.. so they sent her to therapy for her ...

Delusional disorder?

I have a suspicion that there is a (or more) undetectable spywares in my computer that record all my actions on this computer. They record everything I type and take pics by using Print Screen..

Who do I think they are? TMZ, Perez Hilton, CNN, Google, Yahoo, computer hackers, crackers, my friends, neighbors, almost everyone.. like in the Truman Show but people follow me only via the internet.

But the problem is that I'm not ...

Paranoia and college

Hi, I'm new. I have Bipolar NOS, and I just started college. Since I arrived here, I've noticed that I become frantically paranoid about the people around me. I grew up in a small town, on a farm even, and living around all these people has been a shock. If I hear people talking, I become extremely paranoid, and usually begin to hallucinate that they are complaining about me to the RA or something. It's ...

The Bigamist Bride - HPD TV Doc

Anyone else just seen the UK Channel 4 TV documentary The Bigamist Bride - My Five Husbands?

Holy *!@^!

HPD, maybe some NPD. And a load of eerily familiar issues - words, deeds, looks.

Non UK viewers should be able to view it online at www.channel4.com/4od

Highly. No, HIGHLY recommended! Like a training film!

what happened?

Hey I actually want to know an answer to some of these questions. I understand that a lot of people have been hurt on this forum, but I want to know. These questions are posed for victims as well as those with HPD themselves. (Answered from a different perspective and as your opinion of course)

Was your HPD relationship ever bad or horrible towards her children? I don't want a biased answer here, but from ...
