Is she HPD?

I know you guys(and gals) get asked this alot, if a person has HPD. I'm pretty sure she does but I just need someone else to validate.

We've been dating for I believe 2 years now. We started as an affair.. she was married for a while and wasnt happy... said he was angry, narcissistic etc etc(I'm starting to think she drove him batshit crazy). But anyway.. here are some of the more glaring behaviors... ...

How can I not bother my friend I have feelings for

I'm a 19 year old male and I have a female friend who I have intense feelings for. Its very difficult for me to put them aside, and I've had conversations with her about it recently. We are able to converse very openly about what goes on in our minds. A few months ago it came up in conversation with her how much I liked her(as unselfishly as I could with knowledge of her situation), ...

How can I get them to get it?

Hey guys. I'm BPD, which is obviously why I'm here. My boyfriend is a non, and he knows the symptoms inside and out, but if I make one little mistake or if I feel just a little lonely because of my BPD, he gets upset.

What he says is he gets it. He gets a textbook definition, but he doesn't get what goes on with me as a person having a disorder. How can I ...

Two types of Aspies

I have noticed there are two types of Aspies.
The ones that talk a lot: Talk for a long time about stuff they're interested in
Those that are introverted: As you 'll know that you're just quiet.

I've noticed that a lot of Aspies I met talk a lot. I remember being in a support group and all of the aspies in there talked a lot and were very loud and I was the only ...

Very Short Hypomanic-Type State

Only a couple times in my life, I experienced this very weird state where I was almost manic in a sense. I have never been able to explain it to a therapist or psychiatrist. They have always said it is just anxiety when they hear how long it lasts (it only lasts 2-3 hours ish) but I KNOW it isnt anxiety.. I have had lots of that before!
I've gone into this state when I ...

Question: Hypnosis and getting Alters to Talk...

Question: Do you have alters that are too afraid to talk or do not know how to and hypnosis by your T has helped?

Last attempt, all the alters we knew of at that time had PTSD, but several have surfaced now that do not have it as bad or have been calmed way down. We are going to try and communicate again. Last attempt resulted in the young one who came out having leg ...

Ever feel like being an a$$ to people, just b/c you can?

Yes? No?

I do. Quite often, actually. I don't mean b!tch. That's TOTALLY different, lol. I remind myself of my mother when I get in these moods....or my oldest son's father. Both of them can talk someone down with a smile on their face, lovely tone of voice, and before the recipient realizes what's going on, he/she feels all of two inches tall and is in complete confusion.

It amazes me though.....I realize I don't ...

Alone. Miles from home. Outside my walls. FEELS GREAT!

As I type this, I am in a motel alone hundreds of miles from home, but I am returning home tomorrow. I am completing my first vacation ever without my father.

A friend and I had been talking about this for a while. He flew into town, I picked him up from the airport and he spent a few days with me and my father at home. Then my friend and I went on a ...

BPD & Homelessness & Diagnosis

I am newly diagnosed... by the psychologist so far, though I am being sent to a shrink to have my BPD formally diagnosed. I've probably had BPD, since my teen years, possibly earlier (I'm 52 now). As you might have guessed, being diagnosed so late in life, I've had many struggles in my life because of BPD related issues and my hampered coping skills.

Like many, I am relieved to know there are others OUT ...

vanilla *trigger*

I woke up at 3am shaking. I had a flashback. I was cold. Very cold. Not like its 10 degrees and your standing in your pajamas outside, but like my skin was on fire and I was shivering then I was engulfed up to my chest is freezing water. I was fighting the people around me trying to climb out of the water but they held me there. I begged for warmth and I screamed ...
