When I was a kid, I would go to my grandparents' house every weekend with my family. I'm a teen, a girl, and I'd really appreciate it if you read my story, and possibly offer a few words of guidance.
A few weeks ago, after months of countless attempts at improving my eating and exercising habits (to no avail), I was searching the internet and came across the word 'binge'. Is it possible to have BPD without one of the main symptoms, (frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment), or is that the core defining issue of the disorder?

Or maybe I don't understand the concept of abandoment issues. Pls explain!

Hey , I hope you guys won't mind me posting here. Is there a big difference between Schizotypal personality disorder and Schizoid personality disorder? I don't know much about either , I've only read a couple of articles. Do you guys think the two PDs are alike or completely different? To me it sounds like Schizotypal PD is SPD plus a kind delusion about reality , I think? Feel free to correct me , please.

Some theorists conceive of personality disorders as categorically different from normal personalities, while other theorists view personality disorders as being extreme variants of normal personalities or personality traits (Widiger, 1993).

What do you guys think?

I think Aspd is an extreme variant of normal personality, but psychopathy is categorically different because there are specific and fundamental differences in psychopathy.
