Which of these medications work better on OCD problems, Anafranil or Luvox I'm not familiar with theses medications. What if are the benefits of taking one of these medications. What are the side effects of these medications.

Hi! I'm sort of new to this forum and I was just wondering, I'm looking to go to a doctor because I'm I have a skin picking compulsion and intrusive thoughts which I think is called "pure o" right? i keep thinking the same thoughts everyday it's like my mind has been re-programed. I keep thinking of reality and the mind and how everything is possible, these thoughts are making me depressed, angry, sad, etc. I'm scared if i keep thinking this way i will loose all of reality (go insane). from what ive found out on the internet, ive got several symptoms of OCD (the counting variety) and although most parts dont really bother me, i compulsively pick my skin, and have horrible sexual intrusive thoughts that i just want to put a stop to.

im seriously thinking about going to the doctor but im afraid hes just going to brush it away or not understand.
