hi everyone!!! for years i struggled with HOCD, the worst ocd because it directly affects EVERY social interaction you can have, terrible stuff!!! im not going to go into details about it, it would take to long. you know if you have HOCD what its like.

I am 25, single, and my condition has concerned me for many years. More than once, I appealed to neurologists and psychiatrists for help. I myself have also done some researched on my condition. Doctors made some diagnoses, such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety-depressive syndrome (with somatization disorder), anankastic personality disorder, and astheno-vegetative syndrome. Sadly, none of the medication that was prescribed to me had the desired effect.

Yesterday night I just completely skipped my OCD ritual and nothing happened, no calls this day that my grandmother died or something, and no uncomfortable feeling that eventually something will happen later as well!!! Thought I would start a new thread about this well known form of treatement for OCD (particularly HOCD). Does anyone have some experiences they can share? I am working on this right now. No fun at all but I have been diligent and consistent in my exposure sessions.
