today i had an event scheduled at 9am...

the night before last i had horrific nightmares where i was paralysed and screaming at my parents but no sound was coming out... and woke several times throughout the night.

the next day, yesterday, i burst into tears at uni because i wasn't prepared for the lesson.

i tried to shake it off all day, but just couldn't.

then night came... i decided to cope with it ...

For those who don't know, I've recently become indicated as a perpetrator of incest/abuse as a result of my actions a decade ago. Since this surfacing it's marred many, relationships including non-related personal and business relationships. This has been an exceedingly stressful time in my life.

When I was between the ages of 3-5 I had nightmares every night. In the dreams, virtually the same thing would happen everynight, I would somehow be whisked away from whatever it was I was doing and be murdered or kidnapped. The last one I recall having was one were my entire family was murdered. They were so bad that I couldn't sleep alone for two years, I am wondering what could've caused these nightmares.

Every night for the last year or so I have had a nightmare. It's either no nightmare, or nightmare. Black or horrible. I can't remember the last time I had an OK dream. I don't watch scary movies that affect my dreams, I think it's completely unrelated to anything like that. I have dreams of people chasing me and cutting me into pieces, of my family and friends killing me, raptor like creatures killing everyone ...

I used to suffer severe nightmares all about a particular person being hurt. There was one very vivid one that only occurred once where at the end of the dream I'd run into a room and find this person dying and I had to hide from the person who was chasing me, and I had blood all over me.
The regular nightmares went away 2 years ago.

My husband is only 30 years old. He sometimes gets up from sleep very scared. Its not vey often but happens once or twice in a month. Most of the time he doesnot remember what he was dreaming about but he shouts n get up... it takes sometime to wake him up fully.
