African lions

I have dreamt on more than one occasion about my mum having lions in the paddock on her block. But I seem to be the only one concerned that they are getting out, into the immediate back yard. No one cares and thinks nothing of it but me. I have the fear I'll be killed.

For most of my life I have rarely been able to recall any of my dreams. I have an active mind that is/was difficult to shut off at night, but when I finally ...

I've grown to like the nightmares.

Over the years I've been having nightmares more frequently, reaching the point finally where it's an odd night for me to not vividly remember a nightmarish dream. They're usually random as far as I can tell, and luckily I almost always dream from a third person perspective. It's like watching a movie for me. Once I related my nightmares to movies because of how I usually dream, they became easier to cope with. Combined with ...

It's a popular high blood pressure medication that I think more recently has been tested on soldiers coming back from war. I'm not sure there isn't a whole lot of information about it. But a psychiatrist I had who specialized with a lot of people with trauma issues suggested that I go on it, ...

I attacked my dad in my sleep :/

I'm new and have no idea if this is going in the right forum.

So I woke up this morning, wonering why the hell my pillow was on the ground.

According to my dad, I fell asleep with the light on.
I watched The Exorcist the night before, so the girl's face was trapped in my mind. So, light stayed on.
and I don't know, because I also drank the night before more than usual, ...

Acute nightmares, for two or three nights in a row

Hi all,

I've had some nightmares the night before the last and the one before that. They were very weird, vivid and real. I felt extremely happy when I woke up- it was like a rebirth the moment of waking up and realization it was just a dream. They were so real I feared falling asleep last night thinking they may occur again... luckily, last night, my sleep was peaceful.

I was just wondering what ...
