Post partum depression (Trigger)

Not sure if the trigger was needed.
There's no boby in the ppd forum so I'm posting this here.

I'm not sure where to begin with this.
I've been drepressed pretty much my whole life but has gotten soooo much worse since my daughter has been born, almost 3 months ago. My doctor gave me antidepressants, but I stopped taking them after 2 days, cause they were making me sick. I go back to see ...

Oops I think my question got into the announcement

Sorry ---

Here's my question:

On Memorial Day I was drastically depressed. I thought it was because it was a holiday and I'm stuck in the house because I still have the tail end of tetanus.

I was just overwhelmingly depressed, and I didn't think I'd ever be able to see the light and go on.

But... next day I felt a great deal better, and the only difference was that I got 7 hours ...

Did you know that the most common ingested item in the U.S is Aspartame? Did you know that Aspartame BLOCKS seritonin (the feel good stuff) in our brains? Its in EVERYTHING!!! There is way too much on ...

experience on the new serenity pill, anyone

Has anyone tried the Serenity Pill , which is a form of lithium? It supposedly has less side effects and better tolerated. Is it stronger than than the regular lithium? The lithium that my significant other takes worked when he started taking it because the mania frequency dropped, but now it's gotten worse. He wants to be stable, but his thinking is eveywhere. He can't help it.

current symptoms

Hello all, I'm new to the forum.

Just some quick history:

I'm diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I was diagnosed with it when I was 16 and was in a deep depression at that time. Since my mother was bipolar, my full diagnosis was "bipolar with a tendency toward depression." I was moody and my emotions would swing very heavily.

When I was 19/20, my depression started going away because I was tired of feeling down ...

Non-treatment

Hello,
I'm the new gal here.
I have some questions regarding bipolar and manic depression and non-treatment through medication nor counseling therapy.
The situation, my ex-husband, who never informed me he was diagnosed with these years ago, (only came up during divorce counseling), claims he does not need treatment for these illnesses and that his doctor will agree with him.
We have a young child so I am concerned.
He also had a recent hospital ...
