On Memorial Day I was drastically depressed. I thought it was because it was a holiday and I'm stuck in the house because I still have the tail end of tetanus.

I was just overwhelmingly depressed, and I didn't think I'd ever be able to see the light and go on.

Has anyone tried the Serenity Pill , which is a form of lithium? It supposedly has less side effects and better tolerated. Is it stronger than than the regular lithium? The lithium that my significant other takes worked when he started taking it because the mania frequency dropped, but now it's gotten worse. He wants to be stable, but his thinking is eveywhere. He can't help it.

i'm sorry about posting this because i feel like i have no right to after hearing some of your stories. my life is not anywhere near as messed up as most of yours are. my problems have been that i have watched several role models die, and have grown up letting other people push me around far too much. i have always known and been told that i let other people push me around too ...

Just some quick history:

I'm diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I was diagnosed with it when I was 16 and was in a deep depression at that time. Since my mother was bipolar, my full diagnosis was "bipolar with a tendency toward depression." I was moody and my emotions would swing very heavily.
