Prazosin and Rexulti for bipolar/PTSD??

Never really heard of either but thats what my doctor gave me before rushing me out of his office. I should probably say he gave me the rexulti because I've tried a bunch of anti-psychotics/mood stabilizers and shot down every one of them because of experience or side effect warnings.

Anyone used these or know anything about them?

Is it a mood stabilizer and an anti psychotic? because thats what I usually take

Lemon Balm and Vitamin B complex for Depression/Anxiety

Hello I've been taking Lemon Balm capsules (2 capsules 3 times a day) and One vitamin b complex pill a day for about a week now and I've noticed that it's helping with my depression and anxiety. It's stopped my obsessive overthinking about stuff and it's helping with my sleep. I've noticed that my skin is also getting a bit better acne wise but I'm not sure if it's because of the pills!. They have ...

Latuda and Insurance

This is my first post here so bare with me...I have been taking Latuda 40 mg for several years now and have had great success. Now my insurance is putting me in a "coverage gap". I guess I've gone over a certain amount that they will cover and my copay for a 3 month supply will now be $1,093. I guess I did not read this part of the policy when I signed on or ...

Depakote withdrawals?

Hi everyone,

I've been doing some research about what to expect going off of Depakote and a lot of the results have taken me back to this site, though some much older posts. Apparently I've posted here before though I don't actually remember creating the screen name and definitely don't agree with it now, but that's another story!

Anyway, I'm just starting the process of lowering my Depakote dose. I've been on it for about ...

What to try next

Hi everyone,

I'm currently diagnosed with ADHD by my general practitioner. My doc is aware that I also suffer from anxiety problems and would be ok with prescribing medications that can treat that, but I don't have a GAD diagnosis. I particularly suffer from being impulsive and used to feel like I had OCD due to severe compulsions. I also strongly believe I may have bipolar or a similar disorder given that I have experienced ...

Olanzapine bad side effects

Hello all I am new to the forum but very familiar with bipolar disorder, as I have been living with it for the last 23 years. Long story short most of my issues have been with depression up until about 8 years ago when the mania hit.

Well I loved the creative edge that mania brought. But it came at a price by costing me seven high paying jobs (I work as a commercial HVAC/Electrical ...

Chlorpromazine - When to take it

I'm on Chlorpromazine after being discharged from hospital when it was my PRN used for if I was agitated, hearing/seeing things, or if I couldn't sleep. My psych told me to take it at night but i'm having a lot of trouble getting up in the morning and I don't know if this might be what's causing it.

If you're on Chlorpromazine, when do you take it?

It will take me a while to get ...

Prescription doctor--Is this common?

Between living in New York and having terrible mental health coverage from my insurance it has become almost impossible for me to find a doctor. I take three meds. Some time ago I made an appointment with a psychiatrist, hoping maybe he could treat me or at least prescribe my meds for me. He was a real eccentric guy, asked me a lot of odd questions, then wrote my script. He told me when I ...
