Possible Moclobemide-induced manic-like state?

I apologise in advance for this post, Im feeling so mortified that I am posting this. I guess I feel I can at least delete my posts on here (please dont quote, when I crash and realise how horrific this disclosure is I am sure to delete it), whereas if I tell my psychiatrist, I cant ever take it back, she will always know this about me, I dont know if I can look her ...

Have had many tests already and am continuing to work with my doc ...

Saphris Withdrawal Information

About a week ago, I (irrationally) decided to quit Saphris cold turkey after 1 year and 3 months on it for schizoaffective disorder. I have looked up withdrawal symptoms, and never found anything helpful at all, I'm assuming because it's a relatively new drug. I've decided to go back on it, but I did experience some withdrawal symptoms that I would like to share in case anyone out there ever needs to know, because there ...

promazine

Does anyone know why promazine (Sparine) isn't prescribed in the US? I'm prescribed it in the UK and know it's an older anti-psych med. Just wondering why they only use it in veterinary surgeries in the US and not on people.

Does propranolol kill Abilifys half life?

I like this calm feeling that I usually get with Abilify its a sedative feeling. But I don't get it anymore since Iv been taking Propranolol for fast heart rate. I'm not scared or anxious, I just feel normal. Of course I still suffer from little bits of Psychosis such as delusions but I know they aren't real but at the same time they scare me. I don't know what it is. Its like I ...

Your experiences with the vitamin Niacin

I suffer from psychosis (not schizophrenia, at least not now).
I hear voices which don't speak - they're simply mumbling. This is the only symptom of psychosis I have!

I tried Niacin for a small week, and it completely removed all voices I heard, until I stopped taking it.
Talking to people who suffer from schizophrenia or bipolar, it seems to work really good - in fact, if people take it for a month (in ...

Risperdal for sleep?

Hi, I've been taking a very low dose of seroquel for sleeping and it's recently stopped working so the psychiatrist has put me on risperdal. Has anyone heard of being prescribed this for sleep? I'm taking .50mg once a night.
