News of Anti-Depressants

I was wondering what anyone elses' reactions to either of these meds' has been? Especially in taking them in conjunction with each other?

From the age of 12 until 24, I took sertraline every day to help with social anxiety. At age 24, I felt as though I had overcome my anxiety and wanted to see how I functioned without medication. I have run out of anti-depressants to try and many of them I have take more than once. I've taken most anti-psychotics too at this point. Finally two days ago, I was prescribed Lamictal for my depression. I've heard of it being used for bipolar disorder. Has anyone used it in this capacity? If so, how long do you need to wait for relief? Do you have good or bad things to say about it?

Starting at about the two-week mark of taking this medication, I was moderately depressed for a few hours and then super hyper, followed by a crash. The next day I was super hyper for about an hour and that developed into an energetic/irritable/anxious mix that lasted for the rest of the day. Unfortunately I cannot name names or places but I wanted to offer a cautionary warning to those considering/have just started taking or are currently taking Diazapam and zoloft (50mg).

These drugs have caused me nothing but pain and upset, hurt and loss. Despite losing my anxiety by taking the Zoloft, the confusion that came caused more hurt, worry and stress than not taking that little tablet could have ever caused. First incidents, health scares;

I was on Wellbutrin and taking it very successfully, but had to stop because although it was great for my depression, it gave me seizures. I'm presently taking 40mg of Viibryd. Dealing with medication side effects has been a uphill battle now for me. The constant bathroom breaks, dry mouth, nausea, and weight loss are taking a toll of me physically.

My amount of motivation is slim to none. I lose focus of what I am doing from time to time. Having major states of anxiety and sadness all in the same day, even hours apart.

I been taking Zoloft for about 7 to 8 months now. I started at 25mg then up to 100mg per day. Now I have been taking the Zoloft and Wellburin 300mg. I still not sure if the medication is helping or hurting my relationship with my wife.

My prozac was just increased from 40mg to 60 mg a few days ago and ever since i am completely exhausted! I do have insomnia so i'm used to being tired but this is different. I can only sleep for short periods (20 mins - 2 hours) but i'm falling asleep multiple times through the day and night.
