Seasonal Affective? In the pacific northwest

I have lived in Oregon consistantly since 2006 again. I have gotten more and mre down about the winters. I want to do better, but it's really part of why I am so frustrated and have been planning and seeking other areas in sunny winter locations. Anyone else up here in cloudy land?

Depression?

I was told 2 conflicting stories by 2 therapist. One told me that it's only effective on people with SAD and not those with major depression. The other told me it was useful. Who's right?

Excessive use of Brain?

I always use a great amount of my brain. I think it's more than the average person. When I go to sleep and wake up I have a headache. I had multiple dreams that were almost like reality to me. I couldn't tell the difference. What do you think is the problem?
