I'm a midwife, and I work 24 hour shifts, although I'm not sure if that's the main cause of my problem (obviously affects my circadian rhythm, I'm aware of that) because I've been in my current job for 10 years, and never had this issue before (I could easily sleep 9 hours every night) ...
