Has anyone tried insomnia therapy apps?

Apparently some sleep specialists are designing an app that delivers cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. I cannot seem to find anything like that on the internet. Has anyone tried an app like this? Does it work?
Thanks.

What do you do when you aren't sleeping at night?

There are certain nights when I know I'm not going to be able to fall asleep easily, and I need to do something other than lay in bed tossing and turning.

Here are some of the things I will do when I can't sleep:

- Read a book
- Listen to an audiobook
- Listen to a guided meditation or self-hypnosis mp3
- Go for a short walk(I'm in a very quiet/safe neighborhood)
- Take ...

Sleeping better during the day than at night

For some reason I have a really hard time falling asleep at night but can get into a deep sleep during the day. Even if I'm really really tired and force myself to not nap, I still have the same issue at night with trying to get to sleep. I've always been like this. It's weird though because I feel that I need total dark and silence to sleep well, yet there is sun coming ...

No problems, just solutions.

I was diagnosed ADD/ADHD a few years ago and the medications worked wonders. 2 years later, after many frustrations, I realized that the Concerta was doing what it was suppose to be doing, and I was trying to use it as a stimulant to keep me awake(which failed). During the first 2-4 weeks my insomnia disappeared for many reasons. After that month my insomnia came back and I just figured that my honeymoon phase with ...

Sleep Medications

I just wanted to post so I can survey other people who have issues sleeping (either falling asleep or staying asleep) as to what medication you're prescribed and works well. I first started years ago taking Seroquel but it gave me nightmares so I switched to Trazodone but I built up a tolerance it so when I reached taking 200 mg my doctor switched me to try 100 mg Seroquel again which no longer gives ...

Shifted circardian rhythm?

Hi everyone :) It's almost 6AM here, and I'm just going to sleep now. For the past year, my body and mind seem to have both united against me.

I've always been a night owl, having a peak of creativity in the late hours and staying up late whenever I could. But now it has just gotten ridiculous. I consider 2AM as going to sleep early, and ...
