What is the chance that after a year taking lexapro and before it paxil and zoloft were giving me insomnia all this time,unable to fall asleep and even if I do with other meds I wake up early?
I lowered the dose of lexapro to 5 mg,haven't wake up early but I got withdrawal from it like nausea,anhedonia,suicidal thoughts and other stuff.
So I'm back to 10 mg,was taking 20 mg for like 7 months.

I'm a 30 year old non smoking, non drinking female with chronic insomnia that has lasted over 2 years since my mom died. I also have a history of childhood abuse. I am working with a counsellor. The insomnia has been ruining my life. I fall asleep but wake at least 3 times per night and it's hard to sleep again after waking. I've been to the doc many times. I've done all the usual- ...

Has anyone ever tried hypnosis for insomnia? I am thinking of trying it. I stopped taking ambien after 5 years. Sometimes i sleep, other time i dont. very inconsistent. I figure it won;t hurt to try. My doctor also recommended Biofeedback. anyone ave experience with this?

Hi all.Well sadly after 11 months I've been sent to job,by doctors,they don't care about my insomnia problem.I was taking 7.5 mg of remeron a month ago,and it was doing good job keeping me in sleep for whole night.I was a bit drowsy over day but that passed soon.
But after like 15 days 15 mg couldn't make me fall asleep,so I went to 15 mg but that dose kept me very tired and drowsy ...

I can't sleep and its driving me insane. Nothing works, doctors won't give me anything not even benzodiazepines work due to high tolerance. When I do manage to sleep I get nightmares and cold sweats. Feel like I'm going completely insane. I feel like I'd be better 6ft under.
