Beyond Comfort Zones

Who wants to be uncomfortable? NOBODY!
But being uncomfortable in a constructive sense, means that you’re developing and growing!

Let’s illustrate this.
Here’s an example of two people. One by the name of Jerry, and the other by the name of Bill.

Example 1: BILL
Bill dreams of a great social life. Bill also has social anxiety and is scared stiff in approaching other people. He can’t do this when grocery shopping, when ...

What have you done that's been nice for your body?

I think I will be a rockstar, my life story to cheer you up

Feedback for potential youth suicide prevention effort

Some practices are beginning to offer some wonderful additional alternatives to traditional couch therapy. On 12/2/2011, I lost my son Zach (14) to suicide. One component of our family’s healing is to build a nonprofit focused on helping others just like Zach did. You can see some of our initial objectives (in development) here: http://zachmcdonald.net/fund.php.

Suicidal and scared

In April 2012 I was made redundant from my job which I had been doing for 3 - 4 years. Granted in a way I was glad to leave as someone who ruined my formative years and subsequently destroyed my future and who I NEVER wanted to see again (let alone speak to) was always a constant threat but I was lucky enough (or so I thought) to have found a job to go to ...

Also, is "blogging" the right term to use if I'm chronicling my life on this web site? Thank you all. Stay strong, mentally. Most Important. Physical comes next.
