I've been visiting this site for some time now and I've read all the posts concerning HPD.

I've tried several times to post. I end up deleteing them. I can't seem to find the place to start or the words to express myself.

I've been wondering lately how it will be for me when my relationship with my HPD is over and I eventually start seeing someone else.

Will I still know how to carry on a conversation? After a year and a half of never being able to say anything about myself, it might be a shock to have someone actually listen.

Also, will I be intimidated when someone asks my opinion and genuinely wants to know? ...

Not sure if she's got HPD/NPD traits or a mix. Here's what I can see now:

* Idealised me at the beginning (told everyone she loved me)
* In need of constant attention and very needy
* Issues with money but had grand ambitions
* Huge jealousy and envy problems
* Needs to be centre of attention (works in bar with many male suitors)
* Plans to travel the world (running away from something)
* ...

Last night I expressed an obvious one when I told my ex "Every man in the world isn't in love with you."
