I suddenly have no energy to do anything after work hours

Hi

For the past month or two (starting around mid February) I've noticed myself becoming very unmotivated and lazy. For example, I used to go to the gym after work 3 times a week, which dropped to two times, and now I haven't gone at all for about a week. After gym, I would make myself a cup of tea and relax before starting work on my side project, which I work on during the ...

stomach problems related to mental disorders?

for a few months my stomach has been pretty bad with constipation or diarrhea. I've had lapses of this since I was a kid, but mostly vomiting and sometimes sour stomach which stopped eventually. Been to multiple doctors in the past and they could never tell what it, saying it's just stress. I'm guessing it's irritable bowel syndrome since literally every person I know with mental disorders has that and I feel it's inevitable for ...

Severe Headaches After Playing the Choking Game

My brother and I stupidly decided to play a variant of the choking game to see who was stronger and it went wrong. The rules were that the legs would squeeze the other person's neck until that person gave up (signalled by tapping out), whoever tapped out first was the loser and therefore weaker.

My brother was up first and I let go after about 220 seconds (we would count out loud) as I couldn't ...

Can you be aware of an epileptic fit?

I suffer terribly from faint spells, sometimes resulting in actual collapse.

My last actual collapse i called the nhs as i fell backwards, was stiff and my whole body was jerking uncontrollably. I could still see, but i had no control over my body at all. I was quite emotional when i came round through fear more than anything else. It was marked down as syncope/collapse. The doctor i seen at the hospital said it ...

I just saw my nurse today and reported A-ok..

My very sweet nurse came by my apartment today to give me my shot and watch me fill my medi planner. She asked me how I was doing. I told her I am "all good". No hallucinations, paranoia, mindreading, depression, or suicidal thoughts. She was delighted. She told me that she was very happy and that she was going to report it to my Dr. I told her that was fine with me. I was ...

Does anybody else get chronic migraines?

I get chronic, frequent migraines almost every day. I treat them successfully by alternating Imitrex with Excedrin Migraine and covering my eyes and forehead with a cold, wet, washcloth and then covering that with a bag of frozen vegetables and lying down for about 20 to 30 minutes in the dark. The treatment always usually works like a charm.

I've suffered from migraines for the last 32 years.

Schizoaffective self therapeutics...............

I have been diagnosed schizoaffective for the last 23 years. I have been schizophrenic for the last 34 years. I have been very, very sick for all of these years. Mostly with delusions and extreme paranoia. Lately, at age 56, I have begun taking matters into my own hands, all the while continuing with my Dr. prescribed antipsychotics and antidepressant. I would never stop my medications.

The self therapy I have started over the last ...

looking for older research study

Years ago I came across a video from a research study into the comparison of isolating male vs female children. There was a small empty room with a portion of it separated by a half wall. One parent would take one of their children and put them behind the half wall then leave the room. There was a camera setup to observe and the audio was recorded too. The kids I recall being from about ...

Encouragement of a suicide

I knew this girl some years back. I'm not quite sure what her deal is. She can be a VERY sweet, caring, and affectionate person. But, underneath the surface lies something else. She has a vicious dark side. Mainly because she has a short fuse. So, over seven years ago, her and I had a BAD falling out which resulted in her decking me, and somehow HER obtaining a restraining order against ME! How she ...
