I am not sure if this question is OK on this board. I have acquaintances who have invested in Bitcoin. Since there will only ever be a limited number "mined," it seems likely that the value will continue to go up, making it unlike most gambling where one faces losing odds against the "house."

What do people think?

Today.. is I hope the first day taking a step in the right direction. I lost about 1.2K in the last week of so... and it’s tearing me apart.
