Here again.

Hi, all!
Well, I guess I'm here to get some things off my chest and to read some positive things from like-minded people. I, like most everyone here, have been struggling with gambling addiction.

At the beginning of this year, I fell hard and swore off gambling. That lasted a few months before relapsing and starting all over. A week here, a month there, I quit off and on and things were going decently well...just ...

Do you think that Bitcoin is gambling?

I am not sure if this question is OK on this board. I have acquaintances who have invested in Bitcoin. Since there will only ever be a limited number "mined," it seems likely that the value will continue to go up, making it unlike most gambling where one faces losing odds against the "house."

I’m 18 years old, fairly self sufficient and i hate asking my parents for money because of how tight it is here. How many times has someone suggested that you "just stop"?

But you can't stop. That's why we need help. Gamblers Anonymous is a great way to learn how to stop gambling. One day at a time-with accountability to others.

Everything starts with stopping.

Admitting to the problem

I am so glad she did, it wasn't by her searching it was complete 'luck' that a credit card statement gel through our door.
I've been doing this for around 2 years, maybe more, but the problem has become more ...

Focus on today

Life is what you make it. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. You can’t change the past, but the future isn’t set in stone. You can effect a change there. Move forward not with hatred or love. Move forward with purpose.
