Nothing's left

Today I hit rockbottom, it literally just hit me, A week ago, there was 35,000$ sitting in my bank account and just an hour ago I managed to blow away the remaining 8,000$ of it, I have car payments upcoming and rent due today but strangely I haven't thought about it not even once before depositing what was left. It was all gone within ten minutes. The money I had planned to save for my ...

41 years old....Ready to Quit

I am a 41 year old married Mom and I MUST QUIT NOW! It all started for me about 7 years ago. My friend and I went to Vegas. I kept winning and it felt good. I lost most all of it, but while I was winning it was exhilarating. When I got home I started going to the local casino. Unfortunately it is 5 minutes from my work. I have spent many a lunch ...

Money isn't worth it, people

Would you submit yourself to a torturous experiment for cash? Would you harm your body and mind if you got paid to? I know that some folks make their livings in ways that harm their bodies, because they have no choice, such as my dear departed coal miner grandpa.

But to survive I don't have to kill myself like I was through gambling. Gambling is seriously a horribly stressful past-time. And as we all know, ...

This is the end of the road ''my story''

Hello everyone,

I want to share my story I need help.
I'm 26 year old and started gambling at the age of 22. It all started because a friend took me to the casino. I always hated it there and laughed at the people who gambled. One day I won quite big at that time 150$ and I was hooked but my spendings were very low.

It all spiraled out off control when my studies ...

This is it

Rock bottom it is.

This month will be forever remembered as my worst nightmare. I blew away 30000 usd of savings, borrowed money and money intended to finish renovating my house.

Its the gambling addicts mind that we tend to seek help by borrowing from all sources to cover up our losses and make us feel better but in reality we end up fueling our demon. I am intending to borrow exactly 30000 usd from ...

What helped me be gamble free

Hi all,

I haven't posted much here in a while. I mainly read.
Yesterday was my 5 months anniversary. I've been fighting this disease for years now with many times slipping during my recovery. I wanted to post to give everyone, old-timers and new-comers hope and encouragement for a gamble free life.
