In the last week I've read two posts from people who are relatively early in their recovery and both mentioned that self-exclusion has helped them. I haven't placed a bet in over three years and I've been an advocate for self-exclusion since I began. I'm not 100% sure but I believe that everybody else who has had a successful recovery would tell you the same thing: Self-exclusion works!

I have visited this forum before, mostly reading the stories of others after I myself have suffered big losses. Mostly to remind me what my gambling can lead to, but also, and I am ashamed to admit it, to proof to myself that "it's not that bad in my case, look at..."
