I began to gamble just for fun before 9 years
It was quite a problem forgetting method for me since i was suffering from panic attacks and depression at that time.
I gambled a lot but with minimal amounts at that time.
Since 2016 i started gambling at an excessive level with losing control over the money i spend... Nowadays i gamble 2 or 3 times a month but with quite big ...

Any sort of addiction hijacks brain chemicals and behavior patterns. Substance abuse is fairly easy to recognize, and it makes sense even to the naive: adding substances and chemicals into the body will alter homeostasis.
