Why do I want the Ex NPD/P to show up?

I've been on here for bit. I've talked to many and they have helped immensely. I am just confused a little in dealing with an NPD/P.

I met my Ex at a bar and we hung out often. On nights where we did not hang out, she contacted me ALWAYS between 2 AM-3 AM. And of course, we would have sex or we would fight....but we would hang out. I enjoyed that. I also know ...

Boyfriend wants space.. What should I do?

Hey everyone,

I posted a little while back about an initial problem I was having in my relationship. We have been in a long term relationship (10 yrs) and he was only diagnosed about 6 months ago- GAD and Depression, but doc thinks most likely bipolar as well. He is on meds and currently seeing a doc. The initial problem was that I found out he had been talking to a girl online that he ...

To Reveal or Not to Reveal? And those that don't know.

I recently had some issue where I tried to explain the extent of my NPD/P Ex to some bar friends. Obviously, some claimed to agree and know and others simply suggest it as me being too attached and to "move on." Of course, I still feel the fact I won't even go to the bars and don't want to talk about her to mean more than just a simple break up. But every person I ...

No Contact - From the NPD/P Prespective?

What does the ex NPD or Psychopath feel about No Contact from a former victim?

I recently ignored my ex-P when she knocked at my door at 3 AM. She tried numerous times getting louder, but I did not answer. I saw her walk away though the peephole.

I know No Contact is tough for me as I get over this addiction, but what do they think of your not answering them or ignoring them? ...

No Contact - The Progression

So I have been on this board for a little while, and I have been implementing and learning a great deal. I understand I did not really love my Psycopath/NPD ex, but I was addicted to her. I still am really. In the latter stages I found myself enjoying the arguing about her being a narcissist and having her try to deny it. She would use projection a lot. Needles to say, everyone on here ...

Think my new girlfriend has BPD - input wanted please

***moving this post to soff as it has to do with a relationship with someone that might have bpd***

Hi,

I'm a male dx N/HPD and normally date women with HPD traits as I find them very attractive but the relationships are all very shortlived.

A few weeks ago I met a woman that I used to work with and we were instantly attracted to each other. We've dated a few times and really feel ...

My 29yr old BPD daughter is consuming me!

I have a beautiful 29 yr old daughter, married with 2 kids. Their life looks, to the rest of the world, like a storybook. With me she exhibits clear patterns of outrageous and quite vicious borderline behavior and has raged at me since she was 14. But when I set boundaries (as in,"don't call me at work, no late night texts, no calling and screaming"), she attacks (verbally) with renewed vigor. I no longer am ...

Was my ex generally being nice to me when he did this? (bpd)

**moved to soff as it has to do with a relationship with someone with a possible disorder**

Idk why I am asking this, I guess its because i've heard so much bad stuff about borderlines & I feel that the way my ex acted towards me when I saw him last was the most sensible hes ever been. Basically Me and my ex were together completely on and off for 3 years, I always ended ...
