Not acting in my own self interest with HPD woman

I am repeating a pattern of pretending I don't care when I actually do; then I regret not acting and expressing what I want. It's some kind of pride or wanting to appear strong and not caring as if I don't need her.

e.g. She woke up before me and started dressing to leave. I had plenty of time to grab her and tell her not to leave but I pretended that I am still ...

Is she borderline? What should I do?

I started dating this girl last November. We met on an online dating site and texted each other for a couple days before meeting. Our texting would last for several hours each day. When we finally met we clicked and were pretty affectionate immediately. The next day she cancelled her plans with family and wanted to hangout with me again, so we did. We actually hung out 12 out of 13 straight days when we ...

What are the stages of a relationship with an HPD woman?

***where8 - I'm moved this thread to SOF&F but left a link behind in the HPD forum. The HPD forum is primarily intended for those with HPD who are seeking support, but the question is open ended enough that you may get some valuable perspectives from both forums. - xdude***

I've come across this in threads but I have not seen a full description of all typical stages and how long they may approximately last. ...

Woman wih HPD and her fans; should I go out with them

I've been seeing her for about 2 years. We'll go out on our own typically and she'll go out with fans, typically nightclubs on weekends etc. Sometimes we'll fight and ignore each other before the weekend and she will then go out with them. I gather it may be typical for a woman with HPD to run to the fan club in such instances. I think she wants to go out wih them alone. I ...

Dealing with possible BPD Friend

Hi Everyone,
This is my first post. I need some advice on how to deal with my opposite-sex (female) friend. I’ve been reading a lot on this and other forums and I strongly suspect she may suffer from BPD. I’m not asking for a diagnosis, but I hope to gain some understanding of what drives her behavior. This, in turn, might make it easier to deal with her.

Here are some of the things she ...
