Does this sound like Schizoid Personality?

I have a co-worker that no one really gets along with. I think he might have schizoid personality disorder, but I'm not sure. Here is a list of his behavior that leads me to believe so:

*Doesn't care about anything, from the temperature of the room to how his food tastes. He eats the same cheap frozen burrito every single day for lunch, which he microwaves the night before, leaves in his backpack all day, ...

Knowing things more specifically with a BPD friend

Hi, I am new here. I am in touch with my ex bf who has BPD and now we are good friends. Many of my loved ones warned me regarding being in touch with him and how my life will always be dramatic if he is present in my life, but I just know that I don't have anything to take, I just want to give. I want to be there for him as much ...

I Tried so hard...and still it wasn't enough

Hi, I've read many posts that sound very similar to mine. I guess I've used it as a resource to help me understand DDJ. I reached a breaking point with the excessive accusations that I was cheating. It was pure torment with the constant accusing me of having affairs. No matter what tests he performed.. Yes tests! I've taken lie detector test, had been followed by private eye, electronic recording devices hidden in the home, ...

Am I dating a male borderline?

Hello everyone and thank you so much for reading this.
I understand this forum is mainly for the support of those suffering with BPD and I hope that what I write does not in any way come off as offensive. I understand that none of us can diagnose someone based on this alone, but I really need help in recognizing whether the traits my partner exhibits are in fact BPD traits.
I have wrestled with our ...

When they come back

I posted in this section of the forum already about lying and bipolar disorder. Now I'd like to get some other feedback on the subject of bipolar anger. Is this common? How long does it last? How do you deal with a bipolar friend or relative or SO who cuts you out of their life or won't accept apologies or, worst case scenario, has a totally faulty perception of what the argument was over?

I'm ...

Relative stopped taking med - seeking advice

I have a relative who was diagnosed with some form of bipolar after being hospitalized. He was given Depakote in the hospital to stabilize him, but he had some strong adverse effects. After release his psychiatrist recommended Lithium but my relative rejected it partly because of some emotional response to the drug. He accepted a prescription of Trileptal. This drug seemed to work for a while but eventually he was having anxiety and focus issues ...
