Losing myself in my abusive marriage

I have been married to my husband for almost 2 years, we have been together for almost 5 years. We have a beautiful son together and I also have 2 other children from a previous relationship (1 boy, 1 girl) I believe that I have lost sight of the line between normal behavior and disfunctional behavior. I used to be very carefree, fun and enjoyed making people around me laugh. I have become a shell ...

Phantom pregnancy

Hi,

I am very, very concerned about my friend. She is a beautiful, wonderful, person. She has been trying to get pregnant for six years with no luck. She wanted to have kids so bad that she and her hubby started trying to conceive right away.

She was told by a dr. a couple of years ago that she has PCOS. After that, she has completely stopped going to the dr. for any reason. She's ...

I've been reading through some posts here and can say that he is definitely suffering from PPD. I didn't know the term before today. I just thought of it as paranoia.

He thinks people at work are trying to get rid of him. This is one of ...

Clueless and need guidance...

A family friend was 5150'd in California for 3 days, now extended to 4. The husband/wife are close family friends and essentially they ARE family, invited to all of our family events, holidays, etc...

After dealing with his situation for a few years (at least) she finally called authorities for help after he made some threats. This guy is SUPER nice and friendly to everyone but apparently at home, he's not a very pleasant person. ...

When to let go? (Roommate with Possible BPD)

First, I just want to apologize if this is in the wrong forum. I searched extensively before posting and I think this is the right place but if not, I am sorry.

Now onto the situation at hand.

The other night I brought it up agin to her to see what age she was when it happened and she told me she was seven and then agin when she was eleven. She didn't want to talk about ...

HPD and Self-Awareness

Moved to Significant Others Forum with shadow thread left in HPD to gain the support of both forums

I posted previously on another thread about a girl that I worked with and the issues that I had with her. I've come to realize she has strong infantile HPD traits. I see a therapist for my own issues and after recounting my experiences with this girl she felt that she probably was a candidate for HPD, ...
