I am convinced I have either inattentive type ADHD or dyslexia. Whenever I sit down to read, even something I like, I have trouble concentrating. It takes me so long to read in comparison to other people. I consider myself a fairly good learner, so I don't think being slow has anything to do with a lack of ability to understand what I'm reading. Where would be the best and cheapest place in the UK to get a dyslexia test that is recogised i.e if i were to tell a employer etc i would have proof from this particular organisation/individual.

Here is my problem I have severe difficulty remembering street signs from the book and answers to test questions :cry: my question for everyone is, Is there some way to get by this?

When i am writing, or typing on the computer specifically, if i don't think 100% on what i am writing/typing, for example if writing under time restrain, i.e Exams, i will often mix up letters in words, or write one word before another. how do i just ignore people who doubt my ability to succeed. i have in no means been diagnosed with dyslexia yet, although i suspect having it. but i have great problems. my first problem is i have an extremely difficult time reading, i have a hard time understanding text, i need to re ad and re-read many times again in order to understand, sometimes i misunderstand text dramtically and i take alot and alot ...

i realized something has been wrong with me for sometime. i haven't gone to a physchologist yet but i have done alot of [personal investigations and it seemed like asperger's syndrome until dyslexia came around.

Well, i've been corrected several times on the pronunciation and i guess i finally gotten it down, Dyslexia. I think i would say celecxi, or i got the medication for depression mixed up somehow with it. I can't even spell that word correctly.
