A very good friend of mine with DID just referred me to this site. Thank you for having it, because I'm having a very hard time finding a somewhere reliable to get help.

I am diagnosed with DID, among many other things, but only recently has everything started falling into place for me to start seeing what happened (and is happening) to me.

okay so something big happened to trigger me today. Don't want to get into the details but when something like something like this happens my whole system goes berserk. Angry one is super angry and someone (on inside) wants to hurt the body. I usually know when things are more or less "in balance" and this is the opposite of that. Is there such a thing as getting used to everyone in the system? for example Emily hasn't come out or talked for at least a month and she recently did both like she took a break for a while and when she came out and talked afterwards there was major disociation normally that doesn't happen when she comes out and talks..so my question is that can a body still be getting used to everyone in ...

Im claire, i have 3 alters and at least 5-8 different voices

theres Sasha,Amber and Shell and then Tommy, X and the gang, Samuel, little ones and Ambers brother!!! (no interaction with them tho)

i have trouble with Sasha and her anger which can get us both into trouble
Amber likes to play, draw, watch cartoons dvds... she is in hiding due to Sasha telling a friend something about her
Shell has only popped up ...

Before I started dating my girlfriend she told me she had dissociative identity disorder. I told her it was ok and then quickly went to google it. We have been together for almost three months now and I care for her very deeply. We talk about her disorder very regularly but I seem to only talk to her other personalities when she is drunk. They say the normal amount of personalities for this disorder is ...

I wonder... when I have surgery the anesthesiologist always tells me afterward that I wake up during the surgery.

I read once those that wake up like that have a different brain chemistry.


I wonder if that has anything to do with DID?

I would hate to think an Alter was AWAKE during surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
