Not to mention, a good portion of the people are from other countries.

In the past two nights I have had dreams where I was represented in the dream by someone who was not me. There were two occasions like this, and the person "playing me" in the dream was not the same in the two dreams. I woke up from the second one with a headache. I'm wondering if these were an alter's dreams? Anyone have experiences like this?

What do you do with the people who keep hurting you? I want to run away from them but I can't because thery are my parent and my sister. They are the people who made me DID but they don't really know themselves at all. How do you deal with this?

This probably sounds stupid but I was wondering if there is a connection to dissociation and reading/general understanding of things.

Like when I'm watching TV or reading something and I'm "not quite here", I swear I'm reading something the right way, but then when I re-read it it's not at all what I thought I read. Kinda like dyslexia? I know Emily in here has issues with reading and writing things in the wrong order ...

At times, some of my alters have spoken directly with my therapist. At other times I convey their sentiments. About a month ago, I disclosed some info one would have preferred remain a secret, but that was only so he could use it as an opportunity to drive the bus. As long as his motive remained hidden, he could act covertly to get his way. My disclosure thwarted that plan.
