I have been friends with this guy for a while and he is very child-like and I think he has a form of autism or something along those lines. I'm not sure, though. I do know that he is almost always severely depressed and thinks suicidally and wants to harm himself a lot, though. I also have always heard him speak of this imaginary friend of his for years.

So lately I've been having flashbacks while driving. This really scares me because I lose all sense of when/where/who I am during these flashbacks. Does anyone have suggestions of how to quickly ground oneself while driving? I'm not sure what's causing the flashbacks at this point in time.
