DID is amazing.

As per Mr. Bates last post, I wanted to talk about my abreaction. well actually it was lAlAs but I am exhausted from it. I now feel like I havent slept and last night after therapy I couldnt even drive home I was so tired. I wish there was a way to get better without having to go through all of this. Poor lala she was so scared, and so hurt. She stopped breathing and ...

Paint It Black

The other day I was discussing with my brother how if you don't sleep for 3 days straight, you start to hallucinate. I've had trouble sleeping for years, so I do indeed see weird $#%^. But thats not important, cuz without even thinking about it I mentioned seeing gruesome things for a split second. Which I realized immediatly were memories from Edgar and Liz. This whole time, I've seen the images time and again for ...

Grocery Shopping

Anyone else have a problem grocery shopping with alters?
It takes about 3x the amount of time it would take a singleton to go grocery shopping. Everyone has an opinion on what we should or shouldnt get, ice cream, candy and toys unkowingly land in the shopping cart, and there are so many different things that we like and dislike its constant bickering...
We already make the grocery list together, but still the actualy shopping ...

Meet The Family (As Told By D)

Since I'm sure everyone is just so curious about Mike's system, we all decided to simply map it out for you guys. I know them all, so I'll do the honors. In order of appearance:

Mike: The core of the system, you know him as Bates, which is bit of an inside joke. In the game Clock Tower II, the main character is multiple and her alter's name is Mr. Bates. Very outspoken, a little ...

Cage

Well, I recently knocked another lock off my mind, and this time revealed an old memory, an actually important one. From the therapy sessions. Apparantly, when we were being forced intergrated, I locked my alters in different things. Such as Frank in the clock, which explains his obsession with the clock. And yes, this is the very reason I'm bothered by who I see in the mirror. Cuz I'm not looking at myself, I'm looking ...

My husband - DID?

My husband has been diagnosed with a psychotic disorder, but we've been reading, and what we've found is leaning toward DID.

I've seen two other personalities in him. One is a little boy who woke me up a few years ago at 2am, all excited to go to WalMart. He was dressed as a 5 year old would dress himself - very mismatched. When I told him WalMart wasn't open, and he should get some ...

Am I the Only One?

Me and my very close alter got into a very big fight and we haven't been in contact in a while but i know she comes out for long periods of time. And i don't say 'we' like a lot of others (with DID)do. My alters and i are bitter with eachother. And i don't think my alters know eachother. When i switch, my alter (Julie) acts like the only one. She acts like she ...

No One Believes Me

The one person I ever loved doesn't believe i have DID. I've been researching since 5 am this morning trying to see if it is the disorder i have. I most definetly believe i have DID. I can't remember my past. Sometimes I remember things but i don't know if they really happened or not. I am extremely depressed. I have been told by many of my longtime friends that I told them I was ...
