i've had a wonderful day! hubby and i took a ride in the country on our harley. we stopped in a town, got a bite to eat and met a nice couple that have an art gallery! we followed them back to their place, and found out it wasn't just a gallery, it's an entire artist's village! across from their shop was an open air theater, where people come from all over the country to ...

headaches

Does anyone here get headaches when switching? I find I do when my "bad" alter is triggered. Feels like a bomb exploded in my head.

Do Others Know?

Yea..do your friends or parents know about your DID/MPD?

I recently told my friends, like in July I told them...its really weird to talk to them about it though because I always feel like I'm going insane and they're gonna think I'm crazy or something.

...so yea, have you guys told anyone? And how did/do they react?

So sleepy...

Lately I have had the most AWFUL time sleeping at night. The little ones are bouncing off the walls when I get home from class (music always winds them up and I always have some good exciting class to go to every night ... esp. Thursday nights which is Steel drum)
I get up fairly early in the morning (about 5:45 every day) and I get home by latest 11. So I should be fairly ...

Shock to the System

DOn't worry its nothing triggering, this is just the title of one of my favourite songs by Yes.

Shock to the system,

Dreaming all the time; they be dreaming all the time.

Shock to the politicians;
You know they just got burned by the fire.
Shock to ...

Finally getting along better!

My alters and I get along better, and the constant arguing has stopped. Amazingly, it was John (my careless one) who had stopped them from fighting! He told them it was just pointless, and that if they fought now it'd happen in an hour again, and it was just an idiot's cycle! Breanna (the eldest at age 40, and is the best at remembering) had backed him up! Usually THEY fight and they actually worked ...

Younger Alters. Possible triggers....not sure.

I have two somewhat young alters, one is 9 and the other is 3. Its hard at time to have them around and to be able to help them out and figure out their needs, sorry I'm having trouble articulating this...

But, how do you guys handle the younger ones?
