my name is nathalie and i'm fifteen. my dad does some stuff to me that's pretty bad and my mother recently found out but she doesn't seem to care. i did try telling someone at my school but my parents lied to them and now no one will listen to me. i'm scared. please help me.

For all of you who are avoidants what was your childhood like?Were you happy and feel confidant about yourself? Did you have a warm loving relationship with parents? Or was their any kind of abuse and neglect that could have anything to do with why you developed this disorder.

Is child abuse a major factor for people who turn out to be criminals, or do you they still have a choice whether or not?

It seems to be the phrase "once a vitim...always a victim" seems to be true. Im not sure if I( make myself a victim because abuse is so...."me" its what I always known, or maybe its because others see me as an easy target...or is it a mix of mnay things?
