News of Bulimia Nervosa Forum

Well...hi. I'm not really sure how active this forum is because this is my first time here. I figured I would just give it a shot. Well...here it goes. My name is Danielle, I'm sixteen, I'm bulimic, I used to have anorexia. Anyway...I guess that's all there is to me. (sad how an eating disorder takes over any personality that you once had.)

So last year I was diagnosed with Eating Disorder NOS, which means that I have an eating disorder, but it doesn't necessarily fall under the anorexic or bulimic category. Basically, I used to use excessive exercise as my "purge" mechanism. I know its getting so out of hand, when I take off work, and travle miles all just to b/p.

I am doing this more and more, going broke again.
(I have maxed out 2 credit cards* just to get my foods for b/p.
After cutting them up so I dont go over the limit...I just withdraw money from my account....I no longer have a savings in which I use to have like 1500 in ...

I gave it a year but the bulimia never completely went away.
I stopped taking it 8 months ago because i figured I was drinking so much, I was making it ineffective anyway.
Now things have really gone down hill.
I wonder if it's time to give it another go.
I wonder if I am searching for a total cure that doesn't exist.

So, like I stated previously in another post, I don't know what it is 'exactly' that I have but I don't think it's Bulimia per say. On most days I eat healthy. Healthy meaning, I watch what I eat, and I kind of excessively count how many cals a day (in my head and accosionally on a calculator) I should be eating. i am going to the dr to get on antidepressants, which is good but my therapist told me i need to tell him about my eating disorder. i am scared. i have been throwing up for, i dunno, a couple months or so and my therapist is the only one that knows. she told me that in order to get the right prescription i need to tell him. well that means he will probably want ...
